Hello everyone! Unfortunately, I have some sad news to share. I have received the bulk order of everything and after reviewing and inspecting everything, I encountered some problems. On the way to me, a large amount of the heart bags were damaged during shipment. I tried repairing some of them but there were many I could not fix or repair. Damages included heavy bending of the leather and major denting. There was also some issues with the metal diamond shaped nails used on the handles. The supplier that provides these pieces to my manufacturer sent them a low quality batch so the pieces have experienced rapid tarnishing and/or bubbling in the surfaces. Naturally tarnishing is expected over time but not before use and they're a noticeable lower quality than the ones the supplier had provided for the sample heart bag. So my manufacturer and I will be custom molding and making our own diamond metal pieces of a higher quality for the new bags.

Additionally, the heart straps were accidentally assembled with the wrong thickness of leather, making them thinner than intended. Normally, this could be okay but because the strap is meant to be a coin purse and also has a zipper, the thicker leather is necessary to avoid heavy internal imprinting in the leather.

Unfortunately, this means the bulk of the heart bags & heart straps need to be remade so shipment will be pushed around another 2 to 3 months. But now that I have the completed bulk, I can begin to calculate accurate shipment quotes so I'll be doing that over the next few weeks to give shipping costs and update the Backerkit surveys. The current problem bulk will be sold in the future as B Grades & C Grades at a lower price point but only after the new bulk is completed and shipped out to backers.

In good news, the wallets came out mostly perfect. The colors are nice and appealing and the wallet quality is very durable. There's a new cotton lining inside to match the bags as well. There is one small flaw with the lining however. During the production, the brand labels were sewn in the wrong location for heart straps in a way where the label was peaking through the leather. They were moved to the correct location but instead of throwing away and wasting the lining, my manufacturer decided to recycle it for the wallets. This resulted in the wallets having some stitching holes in one of the pockets of the wallet. I'm not super happy with this problem but I understand why it happened and would rather them save the material instead of throwing it away over a small mistake. Additionally, it's in a location that cannot be seen so I think it would be wasteful to remake all the wallets. I have attempted to reduce the appearance of the holes as well. However, I know this might be disappointing for some people who are expecting a 100% perfect product so if you ordered the wallet and will be unhappy with this flaw, please contact me so we can arrange for an exchange for a heart strap or a refund. It is not possible for me to charge shipping only for the wallet orders so they'll be held until the other products are remade.

I'm so sorry if this has disappointed anyone. It's the unfortunate reality of manufacturing sometimes. Small things can happen that can completely affect everything and even when the product is complete, it can be damaged later. We will be remaking these and making sure to include heavier packaging material to protect everything during shipment to me. Instead of an earlier shipping date, it looks like we'll be reaching the original estimated September timeline from the campaign. I'll be sure to give new updates as the new production is made. Hello hello! I locked the surveys earlier this week and got an official count of all the requested colorways. I've officially placed the order will my manufacturer so bulk production will begin this month! If you did not answer the survey, you have time until the bulk order is completed to choose based off the extras I ordered. I'll make sure to post updates as the bags are being worked on. If things go smoothly, they should be finished around July. 

As a fun tidbit, here's what colors were most popular in order: Black, Pink, Lavender, Red, Dark Pink

Hello hello, I'm happy to share that the production of the Showtime Heart Bag Collection is finished! My manufacturing partner has sent me photos of the completed goods, yay! So happy I can finally share all the colorways with you guys in their completed forms!

Everything's going through final quality check and then will be shipped to me. They should take around 2-3 weeks to get to me in the States. Once those arrive, I'll start ordering appropriately sized boxes for shipping and calculating final shipping costs for you guys. The survey will then be updated allowing you to pay for the shipping!

Hello! My bag manufacturer sent me the final swatches of what the leather colors will look like for the bulk production. We also compared some cotton swatches for the inside of the bags as well so I wanted to share the photos.

Until that date, you are free to update your order with any colorway changes or additional Add-Ons you might want such as additional bags or wallets. On this date, the order will be locked and can no longer be changed. (Addresses can still be changed) I will then begin the final product tally for the bulk order.
