Project Update: Pledge Manager and Other Updates

Hello, everyone!

Last week we processed payments for those who finalized shipping and gave us the information we need to get a Big Box to your doorstep. Thank you so much to everyone for making it easy to complete this step of the process. This will help us figure out exactly how many of each item we need to make!

We have more steps to complete. There are still a few hundred folks who need to finish various forms, so we will be reaching out directly over the next few days. Expect an email reminder from Darryll asking for the information we need to move forward with your pledge. We’re eager to finalize how many stretch goal boxes we will need, and we look forward to your reply!

As a reminder, here are our crowdfunding policies for review.

Pre-Mortem Begins Soon!

With your help, we added quite a bit of new content to our initial idea of what a Munchkin Big Box would be. Some components have been significantly improved, and some are all new. All that amazing content needs to come to life before manufacturing can start, but we are so very close!

Our team has been hard at work reviewing all the new additions (like Kovalic’s Munchkin Miscellany), as well as tying down loose ends. We’ll be wrapped up soon, and then it’s off to print!

Until the files have actually been received by the printer – and we have received tooling samples on each and every component – we cannot even begin to give you a ship date. We promise that as soon as we know, we’ll let you know!

Unlocked Add-ons

It’s hard to keep a Munchkin from their loot! In true Munchkin fashion, nearly 2,500 of you helped kick down the door to a set of playmats for each player color, and many of you threw your support in for the Jumbo Dice set!

Coming Soon: Munchkin Shadowrun

The latest addition to the Munchkin line is coming soon to a game store near you! In Munchkin Shadowrun, you’ll explore a cyberpunk world filled with Trolls, Orks, Elves, Dwarves, and a whole bunch of hilarious encounters. Best of all, the new Matrix track gives players a whole new way to hack their way to victory.

For those questioning double charges...

I'm sure there are some real mistakes out there, and at first I was concerned as well. I was charged $154 back in May, and another $136 yesterday. I researched, then remembered I added all the playmats as add-ons, which I'm pretty sure that's what the $136 was for. Add-ons don't seem to appear in my pledge on Backerkit anywhere, so it's a bit confusing as there's no accessible record of what I actually ordered.

Any ETA on Shipping?

So my card was just charged for the additional add-ons I purchased. I'm super excited about that! ETA for shipping says late 2024 and I know I'm probably the 1,256,047 person to ask about shipping, but only asking because my kiddos are asking me when it's coming lol!

Seems like I forgot about them damn VAT charges

Got a slight heartattack today when I suddenly got charged an extra 125 dollars for my little box of goodies :) Then, I saw it... VAT charges... 35 for shipping and 90 for VAT charges for the box and shipping :P I live in sweden so I'm just used that all these things are in the starting price xD But, life is life I guess xD
