This is just an update to let you all know that shipping will begin today. I am currently waiting on three pin designs from the manufacturer. I will start shipping all orders that we're completed by the May 30th deadline, excluding orders that contain those missing pins. Those pins are currently enroute to me, so it shouldn't be long before I start shipping those orders as well.

Hi everyone hope you’ve all been well! I don’t like putting out updates that don’t contain much but I hope this is reassuring to those of you who are wondering where everything is at because i myself finally have information to share! my medication hasn’t really helped me to be able to work on too many new things yet which initially it was fine and working but ended up draining me a lot this is why i haven’t charged cards or closed orders. I still believe I’ll be able to add more designs to the store and survey very soon! I appreciate everyone’s patience immensely!
So my manufacturer has been keeping me informed about the current situation there a couple floods have meant the process has been a lot slower than usual but they’re currently working on screen printing the samples! Here’s some additional photos, note not screenprinted and definitely over sanded and some other flaws which will be fixed in production!

Another update on something which I’m unsure of what I should do, I have these two plush in production currently waiting on samples for them too. They’ll be 27cm including the ears and tail so will fit most cotton doll clothes which i think will be adorable!
But I’m wondering if i should add them to the store as a preorder or run a small campaign with them of course I want the physical samples shown and confirmed before all this but I do have a retail store already lined up for a few!
My apologies if I’m ever too quiet about updates or what’s going on I get anxious that I’m doing too many and not enough at the same time and know everyone leads busy lives! Please know VioletCascade as a business is for making cute stuff not profit and I’ll always make sure everyone gets their order please never worry about that even if things take longer than planned!

Just about all pintopia items have been sampled and are ready to go into production now! A few things need adjustments (3 pins, and a sweater) but I don't foresee this taking very long because I'm not requesting new/accurate samples be shipped to me before proceeding. As promised I can now announce a closure date for the preorder store and surveys.
August 20th will be the final day to place a preorder and/or edit your order!

Now on to the fun part! First up I have a mess of pins for you ogle. MOST of these are hard enamel, meaning they have a relatively uniform surface and nice, smooth finish. Because of this reflective quality its a bit challenging to take a good photo too so I promise these look even better in person.
Note: These are NOT to scale!! Images have been resized and pieced together to conserve space/preserve detail so their size in relation to one another is not accurate.
Please note that the wolpertinger and moth pin will be edited to have the same bronze plating as Bites-a-Lot.
Plushie samples are also finalized! You've seen most of these already, but now I'm able to include Sweet Heart Bat and Dragon Fruit Bat 💖
The wolpertinger sweaters are also finished, but in a series of silly blunders on my part I lost my iron, my camera is dead, and my charger is inexplicably gone so getting more pictures of these things has been a STRUGGLE. Bear with me a few more days and I'll have some clear pictures of both colors, both on a model and off.
The print, however, is adorable! Charmsey's storybook style once again totally shines and came out incredible. The print itself is nicely integrated into the fabric without that smooth, plasticky feel that immediately makes a shirt feel cheap.
Now unfortunately I'm NOT thrilled with the darker color shirt and will be requesting something closer to the concept art (a more desaturated maroon) but will share the exact fabric/color as soon as I have it, even if the actual shirt takes a little longer to come down the pipe.
I know many folks are still waiting on the 3D shaker keychain as well. Some miscommunication has slowed this one down, but I should have some WIP pictures to share before the surveys close 💖

Many of you have already received your rewards of "Dice Are My Vice" enamel pins and any add-on pins that you may have ordered, along with the cross-collaboration "Dice Goblin" pin which you qualified. The few of you that haven't, do not fret. They are in the mail. (Or, they will be when they get picked up from the postal worker tomorrow.) So, if you're in the States, you should be getting them in the next 3 to 5 days. International orders... I have no real idea, but they're on their way.
While I've got you here, some of you (especially those of you who ordered the "High Roller" pins) may be interested in the upcoming High Fantasy—A 4d20 Roleplaying Game. The BackerKit crowdfunding campaign for that fun project is scheduled to launch on April 20, 2025 (4/20). But you can follow it now and be notified of the launch when it kicks off. We have pre-campaign stretch goals to grow the "to be notified" list and spread awareness.
If the 4d20 system Facebook page AND Ølvl media Facebook page manage to reach 420 followers before the launch of the BackerKit campaign, all backers with physical rewards will receive a 420 system sticker.
If the Ølvl media X (Twitter) account reaches 420 followers before the launch of the BackerKit campaign, all backers with physical rewards will receive a High Roller sticker.
If the High Fantasy Roleplaying Game teaser page gets 420 followers before the launch of the BackerKit campaign, all backers with physical rewards will receive a Green Wizard sticker.
There may be another crowdfunding campaign before High Fantasy. If you got a Pirat Tales cards in your envelopes, you have a clue as to what it will be. So stay tuned.
Hi friends, for those of you who ordered a Soap the Bear plush, would you prefer to have the plushies shipped before or with the pins? I created a poll to gauge what everyone prefers. There will be no additional charges if you'd like your Soap plushies to ship first!!
This has been taking WAY longer than expected, and it's at the point I have to bug him for updates directly because the factory isn't notifying him when things are sitting and waiting for my approval.
Here is the current state of things:
This is quite dark sorry, but he also sent a video which was much brighter and showed that, indeed, the majority of them are correct now!! This also does confirm that the UV was too pale, but the screenprint on all the colorways that were hard to make out before has fixed the issue.
The problem is that he said the glow in the dark hasn't been printed yet, but that demon skull is supposed to be included in that, and cat skull and peach are still inexplicably swapped. I explained this yet again...he says he will fix it. Nothing I can do but wait and see if that's true. I'm getting frustrated at how many pins they're wasting and concerned I won't receive as many as I ordered. 🥲
After my pintober campaign (they already have the mold), I'm going to switch manufacturers. It's really unfortunate but this has been really frustrating, and I'm very unhappy with how they steamrolled my friend into UV printing when it was unnecessary, neither of us knew enough about it at the time to know to turn it down. And even though I had tried just due to familiarity with screenprinting, they still UV'd me at first even though it's not what I (we, including all of you!) paid for.
Otherwise...
In 10 days, my joint campaign with CatHeadPins launches!! We are fundraising for new septum ring designs in both 16G (piercing) and faux (clip-on). Our septum rings are hypoallergenic brass (no nickel, lead, or cadmium in base metal or plating) with various platings based on color, described further in the campaign info once it launches. We're really excited for it! My design is the 3 sakura with opals, while Adie's is the enamel roses with thorns. There are a bunch of stretch goal unlock colors!
Hi everyone, great news! The majority of the pins have been dispatched to me, with the exception of Ranulf who unfortunately had areas of miscoloured enamel. I am expecting them to arrive early next week and will work hard to grade them all as fast as I can.
My tentative fulfillment goal is the last week of August, with the exception of this pledges that selected Ranulf, who I will be reaching out to shortly.
I have set all BackerKit pin selections to automatically lock in 48 hr, so now is your last chance to pick which designs you’d like! Addresses will lock early next week when I receive the pins in hand. Cards will be charged at that time to collect shipping fees and add-on payments if applicable.
