We are cramming a LOT into the two shoot days already so we won't be able to add more onto this campaign, but we're super excited to get together, get everything shot, and deliver your goodies to you! And who knows? There might be a few extra surprises along the way. ;)

I did want to give a headsup for those of you getting only the deck - I am sending the bookmarks, stickers, and postcards SEPARATELY from the deck. I didn't want them to get bowed around the deck in the packaging I was using, and it was cheaper to send another envelope with a stamp than to upgrade the packaging and pay more shipping. Besides, this way, you get the fun of TWO things in the mail! Orders with Guidebooks will be all together, since I'm already stiffening the book for protection.
You may notice that you also get an "extra" card #14. This is because the card in the deck was printed upside down - the Act and React aspects were supposed to be on opposite sides. It works fine either way, you can decide which card to use and toss the other, or keep it as a collectible. It was a tiny error, but I knew it was going to bug me forever.
If I managed to miss a bonus card that you should have (the Patreon or Newsletter cards, in particular), or if I mixed up your stickers or bookmarks, just drop me a line. I am enthusiastic, but there is still just one of me, and all errors are my own!
How exclusive is this campaign? I ordered a handful (about 20) of the crowdfunding extras and special guidebooks because I know that things might get lost or damaged and I want to be able to replace them. Once fulfillment is complete and any replacements are made, any remaining will be available at an extra cost. Future editions of the guidebook will not include any of the bonus cards. I also ordered 150 extra decks, to take to shows and sell through my webpage, but again, these will not also have the bonus cards included. You've really got a one-of-a-kind product!
The Companion Guidebooks have been shipped and are scheduled to arrive on MONDAY, so I will be making a big push next week to get everything out. I am still missing fourteen surveys, so get those in so I can meet my arbitrary end-of-the-month deadline! *snaps whip*

I sent out the surveys to calculate shipping last week. So far around 80% filled them out, thank you! I most likely won't lock orders and charge cards until the books are here at my place, so if there are any problems or issues please just write me.
In that sense: I also haven't ordered stickers and prints yet. I got so many extra orders of both once the surveys were more filled out, I think if I had ordered them earlier I would have too few of each now. I'll wait a bit more with that and once I have more accurate numbers I'll order those. Both printers for those goods are also located in Germany, the one for my prints is also a local one btw. For those who have supported me in past by buying prints: it's the exact same one. Shipping time from them to me is usually just around 2-3 days so that is easily planned.
About the books: My printer is currently in vacation until Monday, 12th August. However I will have a phone call with him on that day and we will find a day on which I will drive to him and printing will start. This sadly means a delay, as I didn't know he would be in vacation. I hope that is okay. He told me earlier this year once printing starts, it would only take around 2-3 weeks until the books are finished, so I really hope the date we will find will still be in either August or the first half of September.
I'm spending the time waiting for my printer to come back productive though: I got the proofs back and they were absolutely perfect this time. The ones I had before were already good but there were spots that annoyed me. The paper I use, lovingly called "gourmet paper" by a friend of mine, soaks ink like a sponge. I touched up some spots in my art that were especially in danger of muddying up and now they print amazing.
I'm not even sure if it's visible in the photos, compared to the last one, but in real life it's a vast difference and I am so so happy with it now. Printing dark colours is always a struggle and I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to that so this is a massive win for me. Really shows you that it's worth to take the time to improve your work.

Thank you so much for your patience! Pardon the delay in updates, my home life got suddenly very busy, but the surveys have gone out and I'm starting to prep shipments! If you haven't sent in your shipping address yet, please check your spam folder for your backer survey, and be sure to get that sent in! I'll be getting backer rewards put together and prepped over the next few days, I'm hoping to get them in the mail soon!

Two of the decks have been shipped and I'll be prepping more packages in anticipation of the Guidebook delivery (the current estimate is Aug 13-19) and mailing whatever I can in the meantime.
You will notice that card #60 is NOT an add-on option...that's because I am including them in ALL the Backerkit pledges! I thought about just slipping them in and seeing who noticed, but I've had a few people ask now, so I decided not to keep it a surprise after all.
This is one of my favorite parts of a project, when the packages start going out, and I get to put them all together and imagine how they'll be opened. I am much more about getting things there safely than making the packages fancy, but it's fun to put together all the extras and mark things off my list. My hope right now it to be all done by the end of August, so get those surveys in and help me make it happen!!
Hey all! Just wanted to make a quick update to celebrate unlocking the $10k suit goal! 🕺🏻 We've started discussions (fights?) about who's getting what color suit and I've started collecting measurements from people for the custom manufacturing.
As a reminder, we won't be doing the full shoot in these suits. They have some limitations with mobility and they are QUITE warm under the lights. 🔥 But we hope to have a really cool selection of images in them especially stuff with perspective and foreshortening considering how very helpful they are for those types of refs.
You've supported this project so strongly!! We are super excited about everything! We're working on a few more ideas of things we can fit into the weekend without over burdening ourselves and our resources. Two things we're considering is doing part of the shoot with alternative lighting and also including some video.

After wrapping up production and binding, we’ve FINALLY received two advance copies of Paradise Lust just yesterday, and WOW, these books were worth the wait! Here’s some glamor shots of these beauties. Rejoice at that print quality!
The book’s front was treated with a rich-color treatment that tinted the spot UV over it, so not only do you see more hole-y detail, but also the reader gets to enjoy that soft-touch UV to boot!

As a result of our books’ imminent departure for the West Coast, BackerKit surveys are going up this coming week! With shipping mostly done, we have several updates for you:
First, if you downloaded either of the digital zines before July 26th, we ask you to check your BackerKit account and download it again! We had a snaffu on our end with formatting/compression that resulted in the initial file being very low quality. The current files are the correct, high-quality ones.
As the title teases....THE LEFTOVER STORE IS FINALLY OPEN! If you missed out during the campaign, there are some very limited quantities of almost everything on the store right now. Head there and grab some goodies!
Finally, for all of our contributors: you can now share your pieces on social media! Thank you for your patience on this. Please be sure to tag us on any of our platforms so we can amplify :) If you want to sell some of your pieces on your own shop we ask you to please wait until we close down the leftovers store.
If you opted to wait for the A5 journal and are still waiting for your shipment, rest assured we have those reserved for you. At the moment we have received a proof from the manufacturer but are still waiting for the actual product. Otherwise, if you have not received your package yet, please reach out to us so we can see what the delay may be.
We are now in the home stretch of this project. Our next update should come in the next month as we close the leftovers store and prepare to make the donation to Doctors Without Borders and The Blood Center. Until then!
If you got a reward with the 3 prints, I just learned that the selector pdf had most of the pages blank. I have fixed this and you should be able to see all the pages. I am not sure if you can update your selection, but feel free to email me if you can't.
