I was just checking up on my pledge to see if I needed to do anything else before fall actually comes around the corner. But I noticed that the tax section of my pledge was still empty. This confused me, as every single crowdfunding project I ever backed charged taxes/VAT (since I am in the EU). What is the situation with this project? Will it be added once the addresses have been locked and then we'll get a notification to pay for it? I assume it's not included in the pricing of the pledges. So I was just wondering when I'd need to pay for this. I don't want to accidentally 'lose' my pledge due to missing VAT haha.

One of my all-time favorite things to do is to come up with character names. It's like that exciting moment when you adopt a new pet and can't wait to give it a name.... but now it's a whole CAST. A trick I use, since my stories are from the 20th century South, is to troll through old 1950s yearbooks from Mississippi, Arkansas and Tennessee, to find the quirky names that were so typical of the era. Then I mix them in with the "usual" Georges, Janes, Margarets and Johns. Here are some zingers (that I won't be using this time, so help yourselves)!!! (women) Quilla May Louvelle Berta (men) Vander - okay that was my actual great-uncle Marron Ewell What are some sources you guys use for names, especially if you do historic or fantasy fiction?

Hello from the East Coast of the USA. Did a reading with Christiana Gaudet earlier today. She shared this campaign with me and here I am. I pull cards for myself every morning and am excited to do that for my characters as I try to get my story out of my head and into a manuscript over the next several months.
